{"id":10955,"date":"2015-05-25T14:03:20","date_gmt":"2015-05-25T10:03:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.armgeo.am\/ditvan-2\/"},"modified":"2021-02-26T11:52:19","modified_gmt":"2021-02-26T07:52:19","slug":"ditvan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.armgeo.am\/en\/ditvan\/","title":{"rendered":"Mountain Ditvan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ditavank, also known as Ditavan and Ditvan, is located on the borderline of Vayots Dzor and Gegharkunik provinces, 6.5 kilometers north of the village Yelpin. From the southern slope of the mountain is initiating Yelpin, the right tributary of the river Arpa, and the Sariaghbyur and Mariam creeks are situated on the south-eastern slope. Alpine steppes are stretching along the steppes of Ditavank. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The height of Ditavan is 2835 meters. It turns out that all of the locals are aware of this story. Moreover, an old woman wanted to convince us that from the top of Ditavank you can contemplate not only Lake Van but also the whole Western Armenia.
