The length is about 30 m, the width is 50-60 m. It is formed by travertine of mineral springs. There are stalactites and stalagmites under the bridge. Goris-Tatev freeway passes above the bridge.<\/p>\n<h3>Origin of the name<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are several accounts for the origin of the Devil&#8217;s bridge\u2019s name. Some people say, that the bridge is called so, because many people drowned while swimming under the bridge. The others say, that the bridge is called so, because less water comes out from the bridge than goes in from the other side of the bridge.
