This peak is part of the Pambak Mountain Range, has an altitude of 3,081 m and is now known as Mount Dzithanits. The so-called Woodless Maymekh (2,534 m) is located to the northwest of Mount Dzithanits. The terms \u201cMets\u201d and \u201cPokr\u201d Maymekh used to refer to two peaks in the far northwest of the Areguni Range. The right tributary (Hayotsjur) of the Hovajur River begins on the northern slope of this mountain, while two more tributaries \u2013the Yeghegnaget and Tujiget \u2013 begin on the western side. The mountain\u2019s slopes are covered with mounds of stone and alpine and sub-alpine vegetation, as well as many cold water springs. The mountain is located on the territory of \u201cDilijan\u201d National Park, which covers an area of 33,765 ha.
