The range has a fairly average altitude overall and reaches its highest point at the summit of Mount Dzharsar (2,244 m) in its central part. With its steep slopes, Sevordyats Ridge extends down into the Debed Valley, followed by the Voskepar and Mtnasar Ridges, which descend to the northeast and are separated by the Voskepar, Mtnadzor and Haghartsin streams. These ranges are similar to each other in shape and are longer than the ridges that descend to the Debed Valley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hovq &#8211; or Ijevan &#8211; mountains begin in the southern part of the Gugarats mountain range and the presence of forests in the eastern part of the mountains can be attributed to humid air coming in from the Caspian Sea. The Papakar Mountains, which are completely coated with steppe vegetation, occupy the northern part of this mountain range.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mount Dzharsar<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mount Dzharsar is located 6.5 km to the northeast of Karinj village, and the Sevordyats Mountains begin at this point.
