The reservoir was built in 1976 to regulate water levels of Tartar river and to use its reserves in the most efficient way for irrigation and energy production. The volume of Sarsang reservoir exceeds 600mln m3 and out of this 500 can be exploited.<\/p>\n<h3>Sarsang reservoir never freezes<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fish farming is also developed at the forest-surrounded Sarsang reservoir. Sarsang is being used for irrigation and for energy production as well.
