Mountain Kalasar<\/a> is located in Vayots Dzor province, in the north-west of the village Hermon.<\/p>\n

The ruins of the erstwhile fortress can be seen on the top of the mountain Kalasar. It is considered to be older then Smbataberd fortress<\/a><\/span> and the proof of that is the absence of mortar in the brick walls. In the territory of the fortress there are a lot of mountain goats.<\/p>\n

From the top one can enjoy an amazing view of Vayots Dzor mountains, especially the view of Srkghonk summit of Teksar mountain range<\/a><\/span> and Sevazhayr<\/a><\/span> summit of Vardenis mountain range.<\/p>\n
