We encounter them everywhere: in the city, in villages, near our homes, and of course in nature. However, not everyone knows what kinds of birds live in our country and in the Armenian Highland. Bird watching in general can be a great hobby. It can help you learn more about nature. You can learn about how birds live and what they do in different environments, climates, and regions of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Birds of Armenia<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coming to Armenia can be a great way to add to your bird watching experience. Whether you are well practiced, or brand new to the activity, Armenia has a lot to offer. It is a region worth visiting, even for bird watchers. There are over 370 species of birds in Armenia, many of which breed within the region. Some of these birds you will only find in this region, such as the <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.armgeo.am\/en\/armenian-gull\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Armenian gull<\/a><\/span> and others. Lakes Sevan and Arpilich hold the world\u2019s largest breeding colonies of Armenian Gull, Citrine Wagtail, while the latter lake also supports a small breeding population of Dalmatian Pelican. Also, near Artashat and Khor Virap, you can see many storks and their nests, often on top of telephone poles. There are many new and interesting things you can see in Armenia when it comes to birds.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Bird Watching Tours in Armenia<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proper equipment can make bird watching more interesting; binoculars, a bird field guide, and a bird watcher\u2019s diary are all useful tools.
