At 15 of September 2017 Armenian Geographic held a film screening event in “Team Time” anti cafe. We were watching “Touching the Void” movie.<\/p>\n

The film was screened based on the mountaineering memoirs of Joe Simpson. The events of the film are happening in Peru.<\/p>\n

“Touching the Void” \/ Film screening<\/p><\/div>\n

In 1985 Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, both experienced mountaineers, attempted to reach the summit of Siula Grande in Peru; a feat that had previously been attempted but never achieved. The peak is reached within three days, however on the descent Joe falls and breaks his leg, which makes their decent even more dangerous and difficult. Don’t worry we’re not going to spoil the whole movie with our comments. Just go and watch this movie, you won’t regret any moment spent on that.<\/p>\n

After the movie we had a very interesting movie discussion.<\/p>\n
