At 14th of March 2017, Armenian Geographic held a film screening event in “Team Time” anti cafe. We were watching “The North Face” movie.<\/p>\n

The events of the film were happening in 1936 and tell about the adventures of the mountaineers.<\/p>\n

“The North Face” film screening<\/p><\/div>\n

Based on a true story, North Face is a survival drama film about a competition to climb the most dangerous rock face in the Alps. Set in 1936, as Nazi propaganda urges the nation’s Alpinists to conquer the unclimbed north face of the Swiss massif – the Eiger – two reluctant German climbers begin their daring ascent.<\/p>\n

It is said that for conquering this peak Hitler itself promised to give an Olimpic gold medals of Berlin.<\/p>\n

After the film we had a discussion during which we discussed the extreme mountain situations that were happening in the film.<\/p>\n
