While I was preparing this article, I decided to research tourist forums and see, why people hire guides and what is the most important thing in a guide for them. To my surprise people gave preference to information and sociability, rather that punctuality and safety. Sure, not everyone thinks so, but you can’t argue with statistics. Okay, I must mention that this statistic is more about cultural and historic tours and not about mountain tourism. The situation with mountain tourism is a bit different. If you can find all the information you need about monuments, monasteries and fortresses in internet, then with mountains it’s not that easy.<\/p>\n
