In the mountains and in nature we experience such strong emotions that it is sometimes difficult to convey them through photography or video. Of course, this may also be due to the fact that we do not possess the skills and techniques of mountain photography. Very often we do not see the differences between the types of photography. It seems to us that if we know how to take a photo, then we will get beautiful shots anywhere and anytime. However, it is not so simple, because the place and the atmosphere play a great role in photography and you should pay attention to that.<\/p>\n

In this article, we will present several factors that you should consider when having photo shoots in mountains.<\/p>\n

Colors and lighting in nature are much brighter than in cities. Due to the many buildings of different heights and colors, the city is filled with shadows and artificial colors. All this has its effect on natural colors. Whereas when you go hiking you see colors you never saw before. If you have not been to the mountains before and you are going to have a photo shoot there for the first time, it will be unusual for you to work under such lighting. Of course, at the end you may get even better shots than in the city, but it is also possible that you will not be able to express through photography what your eyes saw. Therefore, it is important to take into consideration all the factors and study the characteristics of the lighting in nature.<\/p>\n

In nature people do not need luxury. Festive or very chic outfits are not the best option for photos in the mountains. If you are on a hike, you will feel very uncomfortable in such clothes. Dark colors do not look beautiful in nature. To look harmonious with the mountains on the background, choose bright colored clothes.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that photos make a great impression on people and inspire them to go to the mountains to see these landscapes with their own eyes. This shows that mountain photography has a huge potential for development in Armenia. Armenian Geographic<\/a><\/span> organizes workshops of mountain photography. During these workshops the participants get acquainted with the principles of photography and the peculiarities of photography in the mountains. These kinds of initiatives are both educative and pleasant, because you are in a beautiful nature and at the same time you learn how to capture these images forever.<\/p>\n
