Magellan Cave is the second largest in Armenia. Its total length is 1700 meters, but the tourist route, spanning 350 meters, includes halls inside which you can find amazing natural formations: stalactites and stalagmites formed over millennia by water droplets dripping from the ceiling and creating fascinating patterns on the walls.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

At the beginning of the day, we’ll pick you up and move to one of famous caves in Armenia, Areni 1, which is also known as “Bird Cave”. In 2010, there was discovered the world\u2019s oldest shoe. And in January 2011, also discovered the world\u2019s first winery.<\/span><\/p>\n

After that, we’ll continue our way to the cave. The air temperature inside the cave is 8-10 C all year long. The duration of the tour. depending on the number of participants varies between 1 hour 30 minutes and 3 hours 30 minutes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, we’ll leave the cave for a medieval Armenian monastery Noravank, which is outstanding with both its architecture and the surrounding marvelous scenery. It is believed that in the place of the monastery there used to be a sacred site. And later in the 12th century\u00a0 the monastery was built in the territory of two earlier churches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
