In 2026, we\u2019ll climb one of the highest and most beautiful volcanoes of the Caucasus mountains,<\/span> Mount Kazbek<\/span><\/a><\/span> (5047 m), situated between Georgia and Russia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dates of hike: <\/strong>27-31.07, 2026<\/p>\n

We’ll perform a climb to Mount Kazbek from Georgia. All heavy staff will be carried by horses.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Prepare for Climbing Mount Kazbek<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n\n

Day to day itinerary:<\/h3>\n\n

Day 1: Yerevan – Stepantsminda<\/h3>\n

Early in the morning, we\u2019ll move from Yerevan to the village of Stepantsminda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On our way, we\u2019ll have a stop in Tbilisi. In the evening, we will already be in Stepantsminda and stay in a guesthouse.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Day 2: Stepantsminda – Tsminda Sameba – Meteo station<\/h3>\n

In the morning, we\u2019ll move to Tsminda Sameba monastery, at a height of 2200 meters, by off-road vehicles. From the monastery, we\u2019ll start our ascent to the Meteo station, at a height of 3700 meters. We\u2019ll walk in light backpacks. Heavy staff will be carried by horses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 3: Acclimatization day<\/h3>\n

We\u2019ll have an acclimatization climb and down back to the Meteo station.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After resting, we\u2019ll start our ascent to the top of Mount Kazbek at night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 4: On the top of Mount Kazbek (5047 m)<\/h3>\n

At 2 am, we\u2019ll start our ascent which will last around 11 hours. After reaching the summit, we\u2019ll walk down to Tsminda Sameba monastery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
