In 2026, we\u2019ll climb the highest point of Europe, Mount Elbrus (5642 m), a popular destination for mountaineers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mount Elbrus is a stratovolcano located in the Caucasus Mountains, on the border between Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia in Russia. It is part of the “Seven Summits,” a group of the highest mountains on each continent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The mountain has two peaks, the Western summit at 5 642 m and the Eastern summit at 5 621 m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The climb to the summit of Mount Elbrus can be challenging, and it is essential to be adequately prepared and equipped for the climb. It is recommended that climbers have prior mountaineering experience and be in good physical condition.<\/span>

Day to day itinerary:<\/h3>\n\n

Day 1: Yerevan – Stepantsminda<\/h3>\n

Early in the morning we\u2019ll<\/span> move from Yerevan to Stepantsminda.<\/p>\n

Day 2: Stepantsminda \u2013 Elbrus<\/h3>\n

We\u2019ll move from Stepantsminda to the village of Azau.\u00a0<\/span>We\u2019ll stay in the hotel and prepare for the climb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 3: Azau – Mountain Shelter<\/h3>\n

Early in the morning, we\u2019ll move to Azau, and climb up to the height of 3 700 m by cable car.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll walk from there to our shelter at a height of 4 100 m.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 4: Acclimatization day<\/h3>\n

Acclimatization is the main thing for climbing mountains like Elbrus. We\u2019ll have a whole day for it. In the morning, we\u2019ll walk to the Pastukhov Rock at a height of 4 700 m\u2024 After that, we\u2019ll walk down to\u00a0our shelter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 5: Free day<\/h3>\n

After the acclimatization day, we\u2019ll have a free day and we’ll have time to rest and better prepare the body for the upcoming climb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 6: On the top of Mount Elbrus<\/h3>\n

At night we\u2019ll start to climb and gain 1 600 meters, walking from the height of\u00a0 4 700 to the summit, on the 5 642 m.<\/span><\/p>\n

After reaching the summit, we\u2019ll descend to our shelter, and then to Azau.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overnight in the hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 7: Yerevan<\/h3>\n

After breakfast, we\u2019ll move to Yerevan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to bad weather conditions, we\u2019ll need an additional overnight on the mountain.<\/strong><\/p>\n
