Climbing Mount Ararat is a challenging adventure, and you can trust us as we have been organizing it since 2014. Hundreds of participants have already shared with us their dream to step on the top of the Mount Ararat.<\/p>\n

This program is for those who have previously visited Western Armenia and are specifically interested in climbing Mount Ararat. It does not include visits to Ani, Kars, and Van.<\/p>\n

Dates of hike<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

29.08-02\u202409, 2026<\/h4>\n\n

Day 1: Yerevan \u2013 Dogubayazit<\/h3>\n

Our trip starts at 7 am from Yerevan. We will drive to the Armenian \u2013 Georgian border, after crossing the Bavra checkpoint we\u2019ll continue to the Georgian \u2013 Turkish border. After that, we will continue to Dogubayazit.<\/p>\n

Bayazet<\/p><\/div>\n

Overnight in a hotel in Bayazet.<\/p>\n\n

Day 2: First Camp \/ 3200 m<\/h3>\n

From the hotel we will approach the mountain by bus. It will take us till 2200 meters from where we will start the ascent. The hike will take approximately 4-5 hours till the first base camp on 3200m.<\/p>\n

All the heavy stuff will be carried from camp to camp by horses.<\/p>\n

First Camp<\/p><\/div>\n\n

Overnight in tents at an altitude of 3200 meters.<\/p>\n\n

Day 3: Second Camp \/ 4200 m<\/h3>\n

After breakfast, we will start the ascent form the first base camp (3200m) to the second one at an altitude of 4200m. The duration of the hike will be from 4 to 5 hours.<\/p>\n

Overnight in tents at an altitude of 4200 meters.<\/p>\n

Day 4: The summit of the mountain Ararat \/ 5165m<\/h3>\n

We begin our ascent to the summit at night, which typically takes around 6-7 hours. After reaching the top, we descend to 4200 m, where we take a rest, prepare ourselves, and then continue our descent to 3200 m.<\/p>\n

Day 5: Dogubayazit \u2013 Yerevan<\/h3>\n
