When did you set a goal to climb Ararat?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Climbing<\/span> Ararat has been my dream since childhood and I even think every Armenian <\/span>has this dream <\/span>in the genetic code. I was getting closer to making my Ararat dream come true after each mountain hike I participated in.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

What kind of obstacles did you face?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Although I hadn\u2019t any problems in terms of physical training I faced a few technical problems. I have been planning to climb Ararat<\/span> since<\/span> 2017, you know.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you imagine the ascent to Ararat?<\/span><\/h3>\n

All I wanted was nice weather. I even made a wish when I looked at Ararat on the day of the ascent. \u2018Nice weather <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>smooth ascent\u2019 thought I.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

How difficult was it in reality?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Thank God everything went as expected. After we had climbed to the top of the mountain the guides said we were lucky enough to see how nice the weather was. Even now I can\u2019t describe my feelings when I heard that. It was the first time I was smiling and crying at the same time.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What were your thoughts when on the peak of the mountain?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Well, I couldn\u2019t help thinking I wanted to climb to the top <\/span>as fast as possible<\/span>. I put on my crampons at an altitude of 4800 meters and was literally running up to the top. You see, I wanted to reach the summit as quickly as possible.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

What is one word to describe your emotions at that moment?<\/span><\/h3>\n

I<\/span> was the Winner<\/span>, the Lucky one and even the Engaged one: I proposed to my girlfriend on the top of Ararat.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What was your most memorable moment?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Everything was really unforgettable. I absorbed positive emotions from every moment. But, of course, the most lovely one was the marriage proposal I made to my bride Ani on the very top of Mount Ararat.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Has climbing Mount Ararat changed your life?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Indeed! It was not just another mountain hike to me. Mount Ararat has changed me a lot. I came back as a different person.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

What has Ararat become to you?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ararat is not only an amazing mountain but also the identity of the Armenian nation, and who are we without our identity?<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Are you planning to climb Ararat again?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Yes, I am! Climbing it only once is not enough. I will climb Mount Ararat again and again.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
