When did you set a goal to climb Ararat?<\/span><\/h3>\n

A mountain ascent is always a great pleasure to me, it\u2019s also a chance to challenge myself and open new horizons. Mount Ararat is a kind of pilgrimage site for many people, including me. Ararat is sacred to all Armenians, because according to the Bible, it was here that Noah’s Ark <\/span>came to rest<\/span>. The history of humankind begins at the foot of Mount Ararat, so if you failed to see this legendary mountain you failed to learn your own history.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What kind of obstacles did you face?<\/span><\/h3>\n

A dream becomes a goal only when all obstacles are behind. Of course, I faced some obstacles on the way to my goal, but I overcame them and achieved the desired result.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

How did you imagine the ascent to Ararat?<\/span><\/h3>\n

As something very difficult, let\u2019s call it this way. Indeed, the ascent to Ararat isn\u2019t easy, but when you finally reach the top, a breathtaking view awaits you.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

And what was it like in reality?<\/span><\/h3>\n

As I had never climbed to such a height before, it was difficult for me. It was becoming harder to breathe with every step, I felt a lack of oxygen, and my legs were weak.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What were your thoughts when on the peak of the mountain?<\/span><\/h3>\n

I could barely walk due to extreme fatigue, you know. The only thought that gave me strength to walk further was that soon I would find myself on the top of Mount Ararat, on which the great Armenian poet Khachatur Abovyan once stood.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What is one word to describe your emotions at that moment?<\/span><\/h3>\n

There, at the summit, I felt like a complete person.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

What was your most memorable moment?<\/span><\/h3>\n

When we reached the very top and the sky above our heads seemed really endless. We were all overcome with joyful excitement, so my friends and I hugged and congratulated each other.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Has climbing Mount Ararat changed your life?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Of course, this event is so important to me! I will retain memories of the ascent to Ararat until I become very old.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What has Ararat become for you?<\/span><\/h3>\n

It means much, very much to me. Ararat will forever remain in my heart.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you planning to complete the ascent to Ararat again?<\/span><\/h3>\n

No. I will not return to Ararat, because there are sacred places in the world, the peace of which cannot be disturbed without a good reason. Of course, I will also change over time: my emotions and impressions from the first ascent will gradually smooth out, but the memories will still remain.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What would you advise to people who are dreaming of climbing Mount Ararat?<\/span><\/h3>\n

I would advise people to always follow their dream.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
