Jermuk mineral springs (geysers) are located 5 km from the city of Jermuk. This amazing place, which is located in the mountains at an altitude of 2140 m above sea level, is included in the list of natural monuments of Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each geyser is a natural jacuzzi with hot mineral water that flows every 2-7 minutes.\u00a0 The water temperature reaches 32 <\/span>\u00b0C<\/span>, so you may stay in water and breathe clear mountain air at the same time. However, you should remember that it is recommended to take mineral baths for no more than 5 minutes, and then take a break.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jermuk mineral springs<\/p><\/div>\n

People have known about the healing properties of Jermuk mountain springs since ancient times. A legend says the springs were discovered a long time ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

It happened when hunting was the main way of food for humans. The virgin forests near present-day Jermuk were full of animals. Once an experienced hunter tracked down a wounded deer. But the bleeding animal was fighting for its life and running with all its strength. The wounded deer reached the mineral springs, jumped into the water and <\/span>\u2013<\/span> oh, what a miracle! <\/span>\u2013<\/span> came healed out of the water. The hunter was so amazed by that miracle that he let the deer go. Since then the news about the healing water has spread throughout the world, and the image of a forest deer, thanks to which the secret of Jermuk springs was discovered, now appears on bottles of Jermuk brand mineral water.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
