Mount Dzor

Mount Dzor is located on the border between Gegharkunik and Kotayk provinces, 3 km to the northeast of the city of Hrazdan. The right tributary (Arorajur) of the Hrazdan River begins on the northwestern slope of the mountain, while the right tributary (Parkapor) of Hrazdan emerges from the southern slope. The right tributary (Kamrjaget) of the Jghut River flows from the northern slope of the mountain, while the Kohakaghbyur tributary flows from its northeastern slope. The slopes of Mount Dzor are uneven, with small, rocky gorges covered with sub-alpine vegetation, while the lower parts of the southern slopes are covered with shrubs.
