Birtvisi Canyon / Georgia

This interesting gorge is located in Tetri-Tskaro region, which is translated as “A White Key”. It is 40 km from Tbilisi. This is a canyon with many small gorges, unique rocks and nature. The fortress of Birtvisi is situated in the center of the gorge.

This fortress is one of the most interesting and inaccessible places in Georgia. To reach it, you need to climb the rocks and jump from one stone to the next one. The peculiarity of this hike is that you will walk through many changes in landscape, and the trail goes through a narrow gorge.
