Mount Artanish

Artanish

Mount Artanish

Mount Artanish, which stands 2461 m high, is located on a peninsula of the same name, 4 km southwest of the village of Artanish. The mountain is covered with meadows and shrubs․ A stunning view will open up in front us from the summit, demonstrating the place of intersection of the Greater and Lesser Sevan.

By the way, Artanish is the only mountain standing so close to Sevan, from where one can enjoy the whole view of the lake with all its glory.

Mount Artanish

We will start our hike from the slopes of the mountain and walk to the top. The stunning view of Sevan and Geghama Mountain Range will accompany us during the whole hike.

After getting a bang out of the scene around us, making photos and taking a load off, we will descend to Artanish peninsula and continue our hike along the shore of the Lake Sevan.

Mount Artanish

We’ll have some rest time on the shore and enjoy the beautiful view of the Lake Sevan.

In the evening we will return to Yerevan.
