The Mountainous Island

“The Mountainous Island” / 10 years in a book

“The Mountainous Island” is a unique bilingual book, containing accurate information about the Armenian Highland and the mountains of Armenia

Tigran Varag, the author, points out that “The Mountainous Island” is not the type of book that should be read from cover to cover and then put away, but rather one that should be opened, inspected and consulted on a regular basis.

All of the mountains described in the book were climbed by the ArmGeo team over 10 years. The book also contains information and images concerning such mountains that were only found in archives.
