Mount Sis, also known as “Little Ararat” is located in the Armenian Highland within the “Haykakan Par” mountain range. It has an elevation of 3,925 meters.
Mount Sis is the smaller, cone-shaped peak of the Ararat mountain massif, situated on the southern edge of the Ararat Plain, on the right bank of the Araks River.

According to H. Gabrielyan, the Great and Little Ararat share a pedestal up to 2,400 meters, above which they become separate cones, connected by the “Saddle of the Patriarch”․

Since 2014, we have been organizing ascents to Mount Ararat. However, Mount Sis was inaccessible for mountaineering for many years. Now it has finally become available for ascents, offering a rare opportunity for us to organize hiking tours to it’s summit. You can become one of the lucky ones to be part of this unique experience.
