Angels' Canyon

Angels’ Canyon

The Angels’ Canyon, surrounded by yellow-red rocks, is located near the town of Vedi in the Ararat region. Recently, this tourist destination has become quite popular both for locals and for tourists. It is located 55 km from Yerevan.

It should be noted that this part of the region is generally distinguished by rocky gorges, but the Angels’ Canyon stands out from the others with its uniqueness and beauty.

To reach the canyon, you need to go to the Dashtakar village, near the town of Vedi. On the left side of the village gate you will see the first sign indicating the way to the gorge. From here, you need to walk 3.3 kilometers to reach the Angels’ Canyon.

The canyon itself is small and there is almost no vegetation in that area. The trail is surrounded by beautiful rocks, which make the place mysterious.
