Mount Semasar

Teksar massif is located in Vayots Dzor province. It is the southern branch of Vardenis mountains. It begins from Sandukhtasar and stretches to the southern direction till Sheksar mountain, and after turning to the south-western direction reaches Parzka summit. The length is 45 km.

Mount Semasar is located 7 km northeast of Getikvank village. The Arpa River begins from the springs flowing out of the northeastern slopes of the mountain, while the left tributary (Berkadzor) of the Yeghegis River flows from the southern slopes. The mountain is covered with alpine and sub-alpine vegetation along with an abundance of stones.
