One-Day Tour to Geghard, Garni, and Lake Sevan

Excursion to Garni

The one-day tour to Garni, Geghard and Lake Sevan which offers two remarkable directions is a wonderful option for those planning a short trip to Armenia. The first stop will be in the village of Garni, where we will see the only pagan temple in Armenia and will admire its beauty. The temple of Garni, which is a symbol of pre-Christian Armenia, is a true pearl of architecture. More than a religious monument, it will reveal a centuries-long historical journey. Originally part of a royal residence, it remained intact even after the adoption of Christianity. Later it was destroyed by an earthquake but was lucky enough to be restored.
