The Pagan Temple Dedicated to the God of the Sun

The temple of Garni, which is a symbol of pre-Christian Armenia, is a true pearl of architecture. More than a religious monument, it will reveal a centuries-long historical journey. Originally part of a royal residence, it remained intact even after the adoption of Christianity. Later it was destroyed by an earthquake but was lucky enough to be restored.

In style, the temple of Garni is a Greco-Roman monument: it is shrouded in a historical atmosphere and can reveal a lot of remarkable information.

The “Symphony of Stones” or the “Basalt Organ”

The “Symphony of Stones” which resembles an organ is a unique natural monument that arouses fascination and admiration at the creating power of nature.
